What is Combat MLM?

Before we can go any further , we must define the two words that make up the title of our book.

Let's start with the second one first.

What is MLM? Well MLM is short for Multi Level Marketing or sometimes known as network marketing. It is a unique form of marketing and compensation that usually combines residual income with referral or word of mouth marketing. The compensation one receives tends to be derived from a combination of personal sales and overrides of sales that are made by future members of your marketing team.

What is combat? Well according to good 'ole Webster : To struggle or contend, as with an opposing force; to fight. ...And for the purposes of this instruction, we like the word "contend", which also according to the dictionary carries this meaning, "to strive in rivalry; compete; vie: to contend for first prize. "

Therefore, we would submit to you that following the principles outlines in our instruction will ready you, " To strive in rivalry and compete in a multilevel marketing environment."

And how exactly do we do that? Well borrowing a few pages from basic military leadership one of the first things that we are going to do is get in the right mindset of how we are going to accomplish that task.

When you think of how the Army operates, you will begin to realize that each soldier that wears the uniform has some common basic skills (therefore the name "boot camp"), and the tasks they perform each has to be of a standard, but for the most part a mission is not accomplished by just one soldier, a mission is normally accomplished through the team work of several soldiers with some component of leadership sprinkled into the equation. This is one of your basic building blocks in the CombatMLM system.

We are first going to discuss the idea and concept of "Train the Trainer".

We've all heard the phrase, " Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime," Well let's take this idea, and expand on it, " Teach a man to teach others how to fish, and you solve world hunger!
